Child Protection Program (CPP)

AICCAD’s Child Protection Program (CPP) is implementing a Rescue and Reintegration care model dedicated to restoring hope, dignity and purpose to vulnerable children especially those affected by abuse, exploitation, trafficking or abandonment. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and reintegrate vulnerable children into safe supportive communities where they can rebuild their lives and thrive. Currently AICCAD is implementing the program in five rescue homes namely Achego in Kisumu County, Litein in Kericho County, Siyiapei in Narok County, Mufu in Embu County and Tumaini in Trans-Nzoia County.
Our Approach

1.Rescue and Protection
We respond swiftly to reports of abuse, exploitation, or trafficking through our network of community volunteers, local authorities, and social workers. Our rescue teams ensure that survivors are removed from dangerous environments and placed in safe shelters where they receive immediate medical and emotional support.

2.Rehabilitation and Recovery
After rescue, survivors are provided with holistic care tailored to their physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs.

This includes:
•Medical treatment and trauma counseling
•Safe accommodation and nutrition
•Legal aid and advocacy
•Spiritual and moral support
•Life-skills and confidence-building sessions
Our goal is to restore each individual’s sense of worth and self-belief.

3.Education and Empowerment
We believe that empowerment is key to lasting change.
Survivors are given access to:
•Formal and non-formal education
•Vocational and entrepreneurial training
•Mentorship and discipleship programs
These opportunities equip them to become self-reliant and to reintegrate successfully into society.

4.Re-integration and follow up
Once ready, survivors are reunited with their families or placed in supportive communities.
We conduct family tracing, counseling, and community sensitization to ensure a smooth transition.
Our follow-up teams continue to monitor progress and provide ongoing mentorship, ensuring long-term stability and safety.
Our Impact
Through this program, many vulnerable children have
Reunited with their families
Acquired education and livelihood skills
