Ms Ascar A. Odero is the Program Manager of Child Centred Community Development Program (CCCD). She joined AICCAD in 2011 as the in charge of administration and operations of a TVET centre. Prior to joining AICCAD, she had worked in different organizations serving at different positions. These include; World vision (K)-Winam ADP- Community Development Officer working with OVCs and vulnerable households for improved living standards, KENGO, KARI and Sweet Potato International where she worked as a research assistant coordinating research on Vitamin A, carotene and renewed natural energy.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from Maseno University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Youth Development in the same University. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration and Psychosocial Counselling and a Post graduate diploma in Community Development. She has enormous experience in Right Based Approach to community development and has attended several seminars and workshops on different fields.
She has a wealth of experience in programming, designing and management of Community Development Programs with over 10 years’ experience in Social Research and community development work. A behavioural scientist, sensitive to cultural issues affecting socio- economic and political phenomenon.
