FRANCIS MUNYAO, A WELDER - 21 YEARS. HE APPEARS IN THE PHOTO WITH AN ARROW POINT SUPERVISING TRAINEES DURING PRACTICAL SESSION.

Francis is a graduate from Kima College. He did a course of welding and fabrication in the year 2012-2013 and passed well with grade 3 certificate. He is employed at Enzai Youth Polytechnic as an instructor. After his class 8 education he could not join a secondary school due to poverty in the family. He comes from a single parent background with 3 siblings. His mother could not afford to pay secondary fees and decided to join Kima under sponsorship programme. He did not imagine a class 8 student can become a trainer in an institute. This has really motivated him and wishes to further his education to another level. He wishes to start his own business for more income since he has gained enough skills and experience.
