JACKSON MUENDO MUTISYA, 18 YEARS OLD, A WELDER
Jackson is a welder at Enzai market. His parents are alive but peasant farmers and earns very little for survival. He completed class eight but did not pass with good results that could enable him join a secondary school. So decided to join Kima and did a course of welding and fabrication. It was not an easy work for him, since his parents had to struggle to prepare him with all the necessities needed at the college. He tried to put a lot of efforts in order to support his parents. He says he is happy since he is now able to support his parents and pay school fees for his young sibling. He earns 7,000 shillings per month, though wishes to start his own business in the future. Meanwhile he wants to construct his own residential house.
